Let’s take a second to trace the evolutionary genesis of the problem of “man”.
In the beginning of time, when Adam and Eve roamed the streets of the Garden of Eden, we were made to understand that they lost that precious opportunity to give birth to you and I there cos apparently “man” tasted the forbidden apple and he therefore sinned but it begets the question of what the forbidden apple truly was…..another woman?,… his child?,… an animal?,… I guess the whole world can only speculate but it was recorded that “man” had everything that he needed but still cast his gaze elsewhere albeit even if he was inadvertently pushed into it but…..
Fast forward a couple more years and we come across a certain king named Solomon who if reports are accurate had about a 1000 women (dats right for those of y’all dat didn’t go to Sunday school…..One Thousand) and if he does 2 a day (One b.d) for a year, wat time is left to govern Israel and makes you wonder wat happened to all the men in that era…. hmmm!
For those who feel that case was an exception and the whole of “man”kind or Christianity should not be judged on this, I urge you to cast a look at the Islamic culture where as a matter of fact, a “man” is entitled to 4(four) wives and for those health freaks who have been going on about how having multiple sex partners could greatly increase the risk of you catching something, wat happens to this “man” or as the case may be, why did nothing happen to Solomon?
Having put the idea of “man” being perceived as being the unfaithful party in most relationships into a new light whereby it can clearly be seen that it is not his fault bcos the mechanism of our construction is such that we are driven by sight which in turn drives the massive production of some hormone that we have in abundance called TESTOSTERONE which in turn drives the various drives which drives us to do the things that are considered being unfaithful which if we were in some other community or should I say another generation, they would be considered normal… I mean, look at the way King David and Bathsheba’s story went, if it was in this our time, all hell woulda broken loose (cue President Clinton).
So I guess WHAT WOMEN DNT KNOW ABOUT “MAN” is that we are constantly in battle with ourselves not to breach the bond of trust that we share by doing what society considers immoral even though we were genetically programmed to do it in the first place and instead proclaim ourselves to be “keepers” (no reference to any sport), u need to realize that we would fall into the occasional lapse of control by looking into the rear view mirror or letting that handshake linger just a second longer bcos let’s face it we all need to feel like the “man” but that should not in any way compromise wat we share bcos even if we roam everywhere, at the end of the day you’re the one we would be returning to… (I.e. if you’re the only one at home anyway)
Lastly, this is not meant to be an excuse for “man” to go around trying to spread his seed into every available soil and plough his way through to the next land, but an advance warning bcos the majority of “man” would cast his glance elsewhere regardless of whether you provide him with all he needs or you do not, so when you find one that does not do this, HOLD ON TIGHT TO HIM but when he eventually does, still hold onto him (I mean look at Hilary) cos there was a reason why it happened in the first place and it is in no way under his control and console your pride with the fact that some other great “men” have done worse and your character as a human only gets stronger as a result and do not make decisions when you are still angry or hurting cos nothing good would come out of it bcos if you are part of the generation dat does not believe in the ways of old when a “man” could be with whomever he wanted at whatever time he wanted even if he is in a relationship with commitments (again wat happened to just friends with benefits but I guess pride drives people to require commitments so they could go and brag to their peers about how they caught a “big one”), I know “men” who have been victims bcos the “women” hardly ever get caught bcos let’s face it, “what a man can do, a woman can do even better” and since we are all animals, and you cannot exist without us, you’ll have to accept what you get and DON’T, I repeat DON’T try and think that you can change us bcos you can’t, bcos even if we live up to 70, we would still look at the rearview mirror but only this time, it would be more frequent and and we would still chase young lasses imagining that we were 30 and still got game (cue President Obasanjo)
